BP-20 Final Record of Decision

On July 25, 2019, BPA released the Administrator's Final Record of Decision, July 2019, BP-20-A-03, in the BP-20 Rate Proceeding, including Appendix B: 2020 Power Rate Schedules and General Rate Schedule Provisions (BP-20-A-03-AP02) and Appendix C: 2020 Transmission, Ancillary, and Control Area Service Rate Schedules and General Rate Schedule Provisions (BP-20-A-03-AP03). BPA also released its Final Studies and Documentation on the same day. To view these documents, please refer to the BP-20 Final Proposal Chart.

BPA has concluded the BP-20 Rate Proceeding to set power and transmission rates for the FY 2020-2021 rate period. Official filings related to this proceeding were made on the BP-20 secure website.

​BPA's Power Revenues: Where do they come from and how are they spent?

BPA is a self-financed federal agency. This means that BPA does not receive appropriations or tax dollars. Power Services pays all of its expenses from revenues it receives from the sale of power to eligible customers. For a breakdown of Power’s costs and revenue sources, see this infographic.
