Science Bowl events will be held virtually this season!

Middle School: Saturday, January 29th, 2022

High School: Saturday, February 12th, 2022

This virtual format addresses one team per Zoom room, not head to head team team competition. Full training is provided!

  • Moderator/timekeeper (formerly Moderator)
  • Question Judge/chat box scorers (formerly Judge/Timekeeper)
  • Recognizer/scorekeeper (formerly Scorekeeper)
The form still shows all roles, we are unable to easily change the form, so thank you for only signing up for the above roles. Please indicate whether you are available all day 8:30am-3pm or half day 8:30am-12:30pm. You will notice the times on form are different, at this time just indicate OTHER and list the timeframe you are available.
 
You must have reliable internet service, ZoomGov and Google Docs access. Full training will be provided on this new virtual process and additional practice sessions will be scheduled.

BPA’s Regional Science Bowl (held at the University of Portland campus) runs on volunteer power!  We need close to 45 volunteers to make this event happen VIRTUALLY this year – sign up forms accepted now through end of December 2021.
