PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The Bonneville Power Administration has replaced wood poles on portions of its Albany-Burnt Wood 115-kilovolt (kV) and Santiam-Toledo 230 kV transmission lines near Corvallis and Albany, Oregon. Activities included upgrading segments of existing access roads, removing existing wood-pole structures, and replacing them with new wood pole structures. The project ensure continued safe and reliable transmission service in the area.
CURRENT STATUS:
A Revision Sheet for the environmental assessment (EA) is available that, with the Preliminary EA, constitutes the Final EA. On May 6, 2009, a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) was issued. It includes a Mitigation Action Plan.
