BPA launching new websites: BPA.gov offline Feb. 25-27

BPA is preparing to launch the new BPA.gov the weekend of Feb. 25-27. To facilitate the site launch, BPA.gov will be unavailable from 6 p.m. Fri., Feb. 25, until 6 a.m. Mon., Feb. 28.
In addition to the new BPA.gov, a new Customer Portal is also coming soon as part of the Agency Enterprise Portal project. The new Customer Portal go-live is delayed due to an update made by the vendor to the base software that has impacted BPA’s ability to make certain file sizes available via Customer Portal. BPA has chosen not to launch the new Customer Portal portion of AEP until the vendor has corrected this issue. Please continue to use the legacy Customer Portal until further notice.
For many customers, the face of BPA is the Customer Portal found on the BPA.gov website. Both the Customer Portal and BPA.gov sites are receiving upgrades to improve customer service and satisfaction, access to information and information transfer, and to make doing business with BPA easier, all on a more technically-resilient platform.
The new sites will be accessible through www.BPA.gov.
Through this upgrade, BPA is bringing customers more robust and secure systems that position the agency to deliver even more advanced functionality in the future.
Training sessions for the new systems (Customer Portal and MDMR2) are being held Feb. 15, 17 and 22. Find event details on the BPA.gov event calendar.
The legacy customer portal will remain accessible for existing users until it is retired sometime later in 2022. However, no new users, changes or refreshed data will be supported in the legacy site.
For Energy Efficiency users
Energy Efficiency users will continue to submit their invoices for payment via the legacy Customer Portal until the BPA Energy Efficiency Tracking System (BEETS) goes live later in 2022. Energy Efficiency users will see an Energy Efficiency page on the new Customer Portal that will link to the legacy site. Use your existing login and password information to access the legacy Customer Portal. Once BEETS goes live, the link to the legacy site will be replaced with a link to the new system. Energy Efficiency users will then use BEETS to report their EE activity for payment.
For Nomograms users
Nomograms users will continue to access Nomogram data via the legacy Customer Portal until the Outage Management System goes live later in 2022. Nomogram users will see a Nomogram page on the new Customer Portal that will link to the legacy site. Use your existing login and password information to access the legacy site. Once the Outage Management System goes live, the link to legacy Customer Portal will be replaced with a link to the Outage Management System.
